What is Lowpoly studios? Should I be afraid?

Short answer – yes.

Long answer - Lowpoly Studios is a UK based indie game developer revolving around the work and life of its founding members:

Davide “m3xican” Coppola

Davide is our founding father so to speak. Lowpoly was a glint in his eye in early 2009. So far just about everything lowpoly has done was spawned by m3xican's twisted mind and we love him for it.

Steve “Starwind” Pearce

Steve is the self-appointed slacker of the group who, when he's not busy goofing off and playing other games, works as a tester and as a designer and idea consultant for our projects.

Collectively we are the Lowpoly crew.

Do you guys do anything special?

Everything we do is special. Not in the “well done Timmy you coloured with your crayons instead of eating them” kind of way. More in the “whoa those guys are awesome” kind.
Our main aim is to create games that are weird, original, different and most of all of course: FUN!

Wait, what? Games can be fun? You're crazy!

Recently there's been an influx of casual games it the market and a lot of people have been trying to 'cash in' by making clone-a-thon rubbish which may be 'addictive' among other things but have nothing to do with fun at all.
We don't want to remake the world in our image or anything, we just want people to play our games and when they're done they will be overcome with tears of joy. Or at least will say “god damn I enjoyed that game, I think i'll play it again.” you know depending on how emotional they are.

So you're all about making fun games?

No mainly we're about sex, drugs and rock and roll, but none of us play any instruments, we can't afford drugs other than caffeine and sugar and we're usually too busy playing video games to do anything else.
